China International Airlines (CA) has announced that the first flight of its newly acquired C919 aircraft will take place on September 10th, 2024. The inaugural flight will operate between Beijing Capital International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, with the flight number CA1523/4.

According to information released by the airline, the C919 will begin regular service on the Beijing Capital to Shanghai Hongqiao and Beijing Capital to Hangzhou Xiaoshan routes starting from the following day. The specific flight numbers are as follows: Beijing Capital to Shanghai Hongqiao (CA1507) and Shanghai Hongqiao to Beijing Capital (CA1508), as well as Beijing Capital to Hangzhou Xiaoshan (CA1722) and Hangzhou Xiaoshan to Beijing Capital (CA1727).
