Sakurazaka46’s Airi Taniguchi Reflects on LOVE IT! ROCK and Announces Upcoming Three-Member Live Tour
Tokyo, Japan – Airi Taniguchi, a member of the popular Japanese idol group Sakurazaka46, has taken to her official blog to shareher reflections on the recent LOVE IT! ROCK event, a collaboration between the group and the popular morning television show RaviT!.
Taniguchi, a 19-year-old from Yamaguchi Prefecture, expressed her gratitude to fans who attended the event in person and those who watched the live stream. She highlighted her experience playing the electric guitar in the LOVE IT! BOYZ band, admitting to initial struggles with the intro but ultimately overcoming them.
It was my first time playing the electric guitar, and I struggled with the intro, Taniguchi wrote. But I managed to overcome it, and I’m glad I did. I’m so happy to have had this opportunity to experience something so amazing.
She described the experience as unforgettable and emphasized the joy of performing alongside her fellow members and the LOVE IT! BOYZ band. Taniguchi also shared her appreciation forthe support she received from her fellow Sakurazaka46 members, Rena Matsui and Yui Yuzuki, who were present during rehearsals and offered words of encouragement during the performance.
It was so nice to have Rena and Yui there during rehearsals, Taniguchi wrote. They were sosupportive, and it really helped me to perform my best.
Taniguchi concluded her blog post by announcing the upcoming Three-Member Live tour, which will feature performances by the group’s third-generation members. The tour will kick off in Tokyo with all tickets already sold out. A subsequent performancein Osaka has been announced, taking place at Osaka-jo Hall on October 8th and 9th.
The Tokyo performances are already sold out, and we’re so grateful for all the support, Taniguchi wrote. We’re so excited to announce the additional performance in Osaka,and we can’t wait to see everyone there.
