Xiong’an New Area Unveils Second Batch of Open Bidding and Talent Recruitment Research Topics
Xiong’an, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) — The Xiong’an New Area has officially announced its second batch of Open Bidding and Talent Recruitment research topics, covering 10 research areasand focusing on technological advancements in fields such as water environment sustainability and autonomous driving simulation scene generation.
The announcement, released on August 30, highlights thenew area’s commitment to driving innovation and attracting top talent to address key development challenges.
The research topics were carefully selected by the Xiong’an New Area Reform and Development Bureau in collaboration with the Xiong’an New Area Construction andTraffic Management Bureau. They aim to address critical technological needs in areas such as the development of key zones, commercial planning, and industrial attraction.
The selection process involved extensive consultations with stakeholders and expert evaluations.
Focus on Water EnvironmentSustainability
Topping the list is the Key Technology Research for Sustainable High-Quality Water Environment in Xiong’an New Area.
Water is a vital resource for Xiong’an, and the development of new zones has led to the creation of a substantial water system. However, the initial stages of the water system’s operation face challenges due to a weak ecosystem.
This research project aims to address these challenges by developing a comprehensive technical system that encompasses water system construction and operation technologies, water system construction control indicators, water environment quality monitoring, and water quality risk early warning. This system will ensure the long-term health andcleanliness of the existing water system in Xiong’an.
The project will utilize a combination of experimental verification and analytical simulations to propose technical solutions for sustainable water environment management in Xiong’an. These solutions will serve as valuable guidance for the construction and operation of water systems in Xiong’an and other urban areas across China.
Advancing Autonomous Driving Technology
Another notable research topic is the Demonstration Technology of Autonomous Driving Simulation Scene Generation Based on Vehicle-Road Collaborative Data.
The Planning Outline for the Development of Xiong’an New Area emphasizes the development of a new intelligent transportation system characterized by real-time perception, instantresponse, and intelligent decision-making.
The Xiong’an road network boasts a density significantly higher than that of China’s 36 major cities. This project aims to leverage the abundant data resources available in Xiong’an to develop autonomous driving simulation scene generation technology.
This technology will contribute to thedevelopment of a greener, more efficient, and intelligent transportation system in Xiong’an, providing crucial technical support for the construction of the new area’s intelligent transportation system.
