两岸青少年“创未来”科普夏令营在福州开营,百余名青少年共赴科创之旅
中新网福州8月23日电 (郑江洛) 23日,第十二届海峡青年节·第二届两岸青少年“创未来”科普夏令营在福州市隆重开营。百余名来自海峡两岸的青少年齐聚福州,其中41位台湾青少年是首次踏足大陆,开启了他们探索科创、感受中华文化的旅程。
本次夏令营以“科创联两岸 福运传海峡”为主题,旨在通过科技、体育与文化交流,增进两岸青少年之间的了解和友谊,促进两岸科技文化交流合作。活动由福州市鼓楼区人民政府主办,为期四天,将带领台湾青少年深入了解福州前沿科技发展脉动,溯源闽台同根同源历史文化,体验有福之州的活力与魅力。
来自台湾的柯瀞淳是首次来到福州,她对这座历史悠久、文化底蕴深厚的城市充满了好奇。她表示,期待通过夏令营活动,与大陆的小伙伴一起感受科技带来的日新月异的变化,畅享人工智能与科创的未来。此外,她还将与两岸小伙伴一起参加棒球相关比赛,希望能够结识更多大陆朋友,增进彼此的了解和友谊。
参与本次活动的台湾运动文化教育发展协会理事长吴锡祥表示,近年来大陆出台了很多惠及台胞的政策措施,让台胞感受到热情友好的氛围和蓬勃发展的动力。他相信,以本次交流活动为契机,海峡两岸的青少年能更加紧密地联系在一起,为两岸的发展和未来贡献智慧和力量。
夏令营期间,两岸青少年将一同参访三坊七巷、福州软件园、青少年科普教育基地等地,感受福州的文化底蕴和科技魅力。活动还将通过科普与文化、运动相结合的方式,让两岸青少年在互动交流中增进友谊,共同感受有福之州的魅力。
福州市鼓楼区委常委晁旭表示,海峡青年节是促进两岸青年交流交往、推动两岸民间交流合作的金字招牌。本次活动将充分发挥两岸青少年主动性与创造性,深化两岸青年互学互鉴,交流交往。福州市鼓楼区将持续做优融合发展“生态圈”,打造两岸青少年研学基地等特色载体,为两岸青年搭建交流合作平台,致力于将鼓楼打造成为台湾青年研学参访、实习就业、创新创业的首选地。

The 12th Straits Youth Festival and the 2ndCross-Strait Youth “Create the Future” Science Camp opened grandly in Fuzhou on August 23rd. Over 100 youngpeople from both sides of the Taiwan Strait gathered in Fuzhou, with 41 Taiwanese youth making their first trip to the mainland, embarking on a journey of exploring science and technology and experiencing Chinese culture.
Themed “Science andTechnology Connects the Two Sides, Good Fortune Spreads Across the Strait,” the camp aims to enhance understanding and friendship between young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait through exchanges in science, sports, and culture, and to promote cross-strait cooperation in science and technology and culture. Hosted by the Fuzhou Gulou District People’s Government, the four-day event will take Taiwanese youth to experience the pulse of Fuzhou’s cutting-edge technological development, trace the historical and cultural roots shared by Fujian and Taiwan, and experiencethe vibrancy and charm of Fuzhou.
Ke Jingchun, from Taiwan, is visiting Fuzhou for the first time. She is filled with curiosity about this city with a long history and rich cultural heritage. She expressed her anticipation of experiencing the rapid changes brought about by technology alongside her mainland counterparts, envisioning the future of artificial intelligence and scientific innovation. Additionally, she will participate in baseball-related competitions with young people from both sides of the strait, hoping to make more mainland friends and deepen mutual understanding and friendship.
Wu Xixiang, chairman of the Taiwan Sports and Cultural Education Development Association, who participated in theevent, stated that in recent years, the mainland has introduced numerous policies and measures benefiting Taiwanese compatriots, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere and a sense of dynamic development. He believes that this exchange will serve as a catalyst for closer ties between young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, allowing them to contribute their wisdom andstrength to the development and future of both sides.
During the camp, young people from both sides of the strait will visit the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Fuzhou Software Park, and Youth Science Education Base, experiencing Fuzhou’s cultural heritage and technological charm. The event will also integrate science,culture, and sports, allowing young people from both sides of the strait to strengthen their friendship through interaction and exchange, jointly experiencing the charm of Fuzhou.
Chao Xu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Gulou District Committee of the Communist Party of China in Fuzhou, expressed that the Straits YouthFestival is a golden signboard for promoting exchanges and interactions between young people from both sides of the strait, driving cross-strait civilian exchanges and cooperation. This event will fully leverage the initiative and creativity of young people from both sides of the strait, deepening mutual learning and understanding, and promoting exchanges and interactions. The Gulou District of Fuzhou will continue to optimize its integrated development “ecosystem,” building distinctive carriers such as a cross-strait youth study base, providing a platform for exchanges and cooperation between young people from both sides of the strait, and striving to make Gulou the preferred destination for Taiwanese youth for study visits, internships, employment, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
