During his visit, Eom met with Jim McDougall, head of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group of the Australian Departmentof Defence, and briefed him on the advantages of Korean warships. Eom also met with the director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute to further explore military cooperationbetween the two countries.
Notably, Eom attended the inauguration ceremony of Hanwha’s factory in Geelong, Australia.
