##金门县民意代表参访团呼吁加强两岸交流合作，期盼恢复福建居民赴金门旅游
中新社北京8月22日电 (记者 张晓曦) 由金门县议会议长洪允典、民意代表陈玉珍率领的金门县民意代表参访团于8月20日抵达北京，就恢复福建居民赴金门旅游、加强金门与大陆交流合作等议题向有关部门表达意见建议。
参访团在北京期间，与中共中央台办、国务院台办主任宋涛进行了会面。宋涛表示，习近平总书记强调，为两岸同胞谋福祉是我们发展两岸关系的出发点和落脚点。中共二十届三中全会对进一步全面深化改革作出系统部署，将为中国式现代化提供强大动力和制度保障，也将为台胞台企扎根大陆发展创造更好条件、开辟更广空间。
宋涛强调，我们将全面贯彻落实全会精神，致力促进两岸经济文化交流合作，深化两岸各领域融合发展，让台湾同胞率先分享中国式现代化发展机遇，共享大陆发展进步成果。我们坚决打击“台独”分裂，积极推动两岸人员往来正常化、两岸交流合作常态化，努力维护两岸同胞根本利益，大力支持厦门与金门融合发展，支持两地人民走近走亲。
宋涛还表示，希望金门各界代表性人士既为金门民众“代言”，也为两岸关系发声，坚持“九二共识”、反对“台独”，破除岛内对两岸交流合作设置的种种障碍，为促进闽台和两岸融合发展、维护台海和平稳定作出积极贡献。
金门县议会议长洪允典表示，习近平总书记说，要让两岸同胞在交流中交心，在交往中增信，促进心灵契合。我们对此深表认同。金门与厦门同根同源、血脉相连。来自福建的源头活水解决了金门长期缺水的困境，开创了两岸合作共建基础设施的模式。期盼两岸同胞共同规划和建设“金厦同城生活圈”，为两地民众创造更多福祉。
民意代表陈玉珍等表示，两岸同胞同属中华民族。金门民众支持两岸关系和平发展、反对“台独”，期盼与厦门等福建沿海地区融合发展。大陆已经宣布恢复福建居民赴马祖旅游，我们希望能够尽快恢复赴金门旅游，为金门经济发展增加活力。
来自金门与台湾的旅游业代表、食品企业负责人等也表达了对恢复大陆居民赴金门旅游的强烈期盼。他们表示，两岸本是一家人，“金厦一日生活圈”已然成形。但近年来受两岸关系变化和新冠疫情影响，大陆居民不能赴金门旅游，金门旅游业受到严重冲击，经济受到巨大伤害。金门旅游及相关行业热切期盼恢复大陆居民赴金门旅游，促进产业复苏、经济发展，让金门乡亲享受更多融合发展红利。
金门县民意代表参访团将于8月24日离开北京。在北京期间，参访团参观了中国交通建设集团展览馆、北京新能源汽车股份有限公司蓝谷园区、北京大运河博物馆“探秘古蜀文明一一三星堆与金沙”展览等。
此次金门县民意代表参访团的北京之行，体现了金门民众对加强两岸交流合作、促进两岸融合发展的强烈愿望，也为两岸关系和平发展注入了新的动力。

A delegation of Kinmen County Council representatives, led by Council Speaker Hung Yun-tien and Councilmember Chen Yu-chen, arrived in Beijing on August20th. The delegation expressed their opinions and suggestions to relevant departments on resuming tourism from Fujian residents to Kinmen and strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Kinmenand the mainland.
During their stay in Beijing, the delegation met with Song Tao, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. Song Tao stated that General SecretaryXi Jinping has emphasized that promoting the well-being of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait is the starting point and ultimate goal of developing cross-Strait relations. The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committeehas made systematic deployments for further comprehensively deepening reforms, which will provide strong impetus and institutional guarantees for Chinese-style modernization and create better conditions and broader space for Taiwanese compatriots and businesses to take root and develop in the mainland.
Song Tao emphasized that they will fully implement the spirit of the Plenary Session, strive to promoteeconomic and cultural exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait, deepen the integrated development of various fields across the Strait, allow Taiwanese compatriots to be the first to share the development opportunities of Chinese-style modernization, and share the fruits of mainland development and progress. They will resolutely combat “Taiwan independence” separatism, actively promote thenormalization of personnel exchanges and the normalization of exchanges and cooperation across the Taiwan Strait, strive to safeguard the fundamental interests of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, strongly support the integrated development of Xiamen and Kinmen, and support the people of both sides to get closer and become more familiar with each other.
SongTao also expressed hope that representative figures from all walks of life in Kinmen would act as “spokespersons” for the people of Kinmen and also speak out for cross-Strait relations, uphold the “1992 Consensus,” oppose “Taiwan independence,” break down various obstacles set up by the island forcross-Strait exchanges and cooperation, and make positive contributions to promoting the integrated development of Fujian and Taiwan and the peaceful stability of the Taiwan Strait.
Hung Yun-tien, Speaker of the Kinmen County Council, stated that General Secretary Xi Jinping said that we should let compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straitconnect hearts through exchanges, build trust through interactions, and promote spiritual convergence. We deeply agree with this. Kinmen and Xiamen share the same roots and bloodlines. The source water from Fujian has solved Kinmen’s long-standing water shortage problem, creating a model for cross-Strait cooperation in buildinginfrastructure. We hope that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait can jointly plan and build a “Kinmen-Xiamen integrated living circle” to create more well-being for the people of both sides.
Councilmember Chen Yu-chen and others stated that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to thesame Chinese nation. The people of Kinmen support the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations, oppose “Taiwan independence,” and hope to integrate with Xiamen and other coastal areas of Fujian. The mainland has already announced the resumption of tourism from Fujian residents to Matsu. We hope that tourism to Kinmen canbe resumed as soon as possible to inject vitality into Kinmen’s economic development.
Tourism representatives and food company executives from Kinmen and Taiwan also expressed their strong desire for the resumption of tourism from mainland residents to Kinmen. They stated that both sides of the Taiwan Strait are one family, and the “Kinmen-Xiamen one-day living circle” has already taken shape. However, in recent years, due to changes in cross-Strait relations and the COVID-19 pandemic, mainland residents have been unable to travel to Kinmen, severely impacting Kinmen’s tourism industry and causing significant economic damage. The tourismand related industries in Kinmen eagerly await the resumption of tourism from mainland residents to Kinmen, promoting industrial recovery and economic development, and allowing the people of Kinmen to enjoy more benefits from integrated development.
The Kinmen County Council delegation will leave Beijing on August 24th. During their stay in Beijing,the delegation visited the China Communications Construction Group Exhibition Hall, the Blue Valley Park of Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., and the Beijing Grand Canal Museum’s “Exploring Ancient Shu Civilization – Sanxingdui and Jinsha” exhibition.
The Beijing visit of the Kinmen County Council delegation reflects the strong desire ofthe people of Kinmen to strengthen cross-Strait exchanges and cooperation and promote the integrated development of both sides, and it also injects new momentum into the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.
