##2024年和平文化之旅暨海峡两岸少数民族交流活动在湖南新宁县开幕

中新社邵阳8月22日电 (向一鹏) 2024年和平文化之旅暨海峡两岸少数民族交流活动22日在湖南新宁县隆重开幕。来自海峡两岸的青年和少数民族代表齐聚世界自然遗产地崀山,共扬中华传统文化、共促交往交流交融、共话创新创业之策,为两岸关系和平发展注入新的活力。

海峡两岸关系协会常务副会长龙明彪,湖南省政协副主席肖百灵出席开幕式并致辞。龙明彪表示,此次活动是两岸民间交流的重要平台,有助于增进两岸同胞的相互了解和情感认同,为两岸关系和平发展贡献力量。肖百灵则强调,湖南将积极推动湘台两地在经贸、文化、教育、青少年等领域的交流合作,为两岸关系和平发展贡献湖南力量。

本次活动内容丰富多彩,包括“寻找崀山代言人”、两岸青年沙龙、首届海峡两岸少数民族音乐节、和平文化之旅、特色产业考察等。活动旨在践行“两岸一家亲”理念,铸牢中华民族共同体意识、促进两岸同胞心灵契合。

湖南省委台办主任、省海峡两岸交流促进会会长曾智夫在致辞中表示,希望通过这次活动,让更多台胞朋友们全面认识和了解大陆,自觉做中华文化的守护者、传承者、弘扬者,不断增强中华民族的归属感、认同感、荣誉感,为实现中华民族伟大复兴而共同奋斗。

邵阳市委书记严华则诚邀广大台商台胞多来邵阳走走看看,畅叙亲情、共谋发展。邵阳将以此次活动为新起点,持续加强邵台交流合作,积极为台胞办实事解难题,让台胞在邵利益更多、福祉更实、未来更好。

开幕式上,新宁县为台湾少数民族歌手杨品骅、重庆大学学生邹阳芮颁发崀山代言人证书。现场还举行了首届海峡两岸少数民族音乐节活动,湘台两地青年和少数民族歌手载歌载舞,拉近了两岸民众的心灵距离,唱响了和平与友爱的乐章。

本次活动由湖南省人民政府台湾事务办公室、湖南省民族宗教事务委员会、湖南省文化和旅游厅、共青团湖南省委、湖南广播电视台、邵阳市人民政府主办。

The 2024 Peace Culture Journey and Cross-Strait Minority Group Exchange Event kicked off in Xinning County, Hunan Province on August 22nd. Young people and minority group representatives from both sides of the Taiwan Strait gathered at the Langshan World Natural Heritage Siteto promote traditional Chinese culture, foster exchanges and integration, discuss innovation and entrepreneurship, and inject new vitality into the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.

Long Mingbiao, Executive Vice President of the Association for Relations Across theTaiwan Straits, and Xiao Bailing, Vice Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Long Mingbiao stated that the event serves as an important platform for cross-Strait civil exchanges, contributing to mutual understanding and emotional identification between people on both sides, and ultimately promoting peaceful development of cross-Strait relations. Xiao Bailing emphasized that Hunan Province will actively promote exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Taiwan in areas like economy, trade, culture, education, and youth, contributing Hunan’s strength to the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.

The event features a diverse range of activities, including “Finding Langshan Ambassadors,” cross-Strait youth salons, the first Cross-Strait Minority Group Music Festival, the Peace Culture Journey, and special industry investigations. The aim is to upholdthe “One Family on Both Sides of the Strait” principle, solidify the consciousness of the Chinese nation as a community, and foster spiritual harmony between people on both sides.

Zeng Zhifu, Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the Hunan Provincial Associationfor Cross-Strait Exchange, expressed in his speech that he hopes the event will enable more Taiwanese friends to gain a comprehensive understanding of the mainland, consciously become guardians, inheritors, and promoters of Chinese culture, continuously enhance their sense of belonging, identification, and honor as members of the Chinese nation, and work togetherto achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Yan Hua, Secretary of the Shaoyang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, extended a warm invitation to Taiwanese businessmen and compatriots to visit Shaoyang, fostering family ties and pursuing common development. Shaoyang will take this event as a new starting point, continuously strengthenexchanges and cooperation between Shaoyang and Taiwan, actively address practical issues and solve difficulties for Taiwanese compatriots, and ensure that Taiwanese compatriots enjoy more benefits, greater well-being, and a brighter future in Shaoyang.

At the opening ceremony, Xinning County awarded Langshan Ambassador certificates to Yang Pinghua, a Taiwanese minoritygroup singer, and Zou Yangrui, a student from Chongqing University. The first Cross-Strait Minority Group Music Festival was also held, with young people and minority group singers from Hunan and Taiwan performing songs and dances, bridging the hearts of people on both sides and singing a melody of peace and friendship.

Theevent was jointly organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government, the Hunan Provincial Committee of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Communist Youth League of Hunan Province, Hunan Broadcasting Corporation, and the Shaoyang Municipal People’s Government.
