##山西盛邀台商台青共谋发展 “台商台青走晋来”活动开幕
**中新社太原8月21日电 (记者 李庭耀 胡健)** 2024年“台商台青走晋来”活动开幕大会21日在山西太原举行，来自台湾的企业家、青年代表以及媒体记者等400余人参加了此次盛会。活动旨在深化晋台交流合作，促进两岸融合发展，为两岸同胞共谋发展、共享机遇搭建平台。
山西省委副书记、省长金湘军在致辞中表示，山西将不断完善惠台举措，为台商台青在晋投资兴业提供良好的环境和服务保障。他提出三点倡议：深化产业合作，共同分享发展机遇；加强文化交流，共同拉紧情感纽带；强化青年交往，共同追梦筑梦圆梦，为强国建设、民族复兴贡献力量。
中共中央台办、国务院台办副主任潘贤掌在致辞中强调，大陆经济长期向好的基本面没有改变、也不会改变，欢迎更多台商台胞来大陆参访交流、投资兴业，支持广大台湾青年来大陆学习生活、实习就业创业。他希望广大台湾同胞坚决与“台独”分裂行径和外部干涉势力划清界限，积极投身两岸交流合作，共护台海和平稳定，共促同胞心灵契合，共享民族复兴荣耀。
中国国民党前副主席蒋孝严、台湾商业总会主席赖正镒、全国台企联会长李政宏等在致辞中赞誉山西为推动两岸交流合作作出的努力，分享两岸交流交往交融的感人故事。他们表示山西历史悠久、文化灿烂、发展态势强劲，期待进一步密切与山西的交流交往，帮助广大台商台青抢抓山西发展机遇，携手开展更广泛交流合作，实现互利共赢，共同续写晋台融合发展新篇章。
此次“台商台青走晋来”活动主题为“深化晋台交流合作 促进两岸融合发展”。活动期间，将举办产业合作专题推介暨台湾青年实习就业宣介会，晋台农业、医药、文旅、青年、妇女等特色专场交流，参访考察及项目对接等系列活动。

## Shanxi Extends Warm Welcome to Taiwanese Businesspeople and Youth forJoint Development, “Taiwanese Businesspeople and Youth Come to Shanxi” Event Kicks Off
**Taiyuan, August 21 (CNS)** – Theopening ceremony of the 2024 “Taiwanese Businesspeople and Youth Come to Shanxi” event was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province on August 21st. Over 400 attendees, including Taiwanese entrepreneurs, youth representatives, and media journalists, participated in the grand gathering. The event aims to deepen exchanges and cooperation between Shanxi and Taiwan, promote cross-strait integration, and build a platform for compatriots on both sides to work together fordevelopment and share opportunities.
Jin Xiangjun, Deputy Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Governor of Shanxi Province, delivered a speech, stating that Shanxi will continuously improve its preferential policies for Taiwan, providing a favorable environment and service guarantees for Taiwanese businesspeople and youth to invest andstart businesses in the province. He proposed three initiatives: deepening industrial cooperation to jointly share development opportunities; strengthening cultural exchanges to tighten emotional bonds; and enhancing youth interactions to pursue dreams together, contribute to national rejuvenation, and achieve national rejuvenation.
Pan Xianzhang, Deputy Director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party ofChina Central Committee and the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, emphasized in his speech that the fundamental factors for China’s long-term economic growth remain unchanged and will not change. He welcomed more Taiwanese businesspeople and compatriots to visit and exchange ideas, invest and start businesses in the mainland, and encouraged Taiwanese youth to study,live, intern, and start businesses in the mainland. He urged Taiwanese compatriots to resolutely draw a clear line with the “Taiwan independence” separatist activities and external interference forces, actively participate in cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, jointly safeguard peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait, promote spiritual harmony among compatriots, and sharethe glory of national rejuvenation.
Former Vice Chairman of the Kuomintang Jiang Xiaoyan, Chairman of the Taiwan Business Association Lai Zhengyi, and President of the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots Enterprises Li Zhenghong, among others, expressed their appreciation for Shanxi’s efforts in promoting cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in their speeches, sharing touching stories of cross-strait exchanges, interactions, and integration. They acknowledged Shanxi’s rich history, brilliant culture, and strong development momentum, expressing their anticipation for further close exchanges and interactions with Shanxi.
