Overseas Chinese media visited Pingyao to appreciate the charm of ancient Ming and Qing architecture. Editor-in-Chief Zhao Youming of the Philippine-based Business Daily said he had visited three of the four Chinese ancient cities. “For the first time in Pingyao, I saw the well-organized architectural style, bustling streets, and the flow of tourists.”
