海外华文媒体聚焦晋城：向世界讲述美好晋城故事

8月7日至10日，2024“行走中国·报道中国”海外华文媒体山西行采访活动走进晋城，来自10余个国家的20余位海外华文媒体高层、记者编辑聚焦产业转型发展、感受非遗技艺、领略古堡文化，体验中国传统文化，向世界讲述美好晋城故事。
聚焦产业转型，感受发展活力。一分钟，200只精微光学镜头诞生；一天，10万件手机部件下线；一个月，90亿颗LED灯珠产出……这是晋城市光机电产业的成绩单。近年来，晋城市立足自身优势，坚持创新驱动，深耕光机电产业，不断加强政策支持，优化营商环境，改善产业生态。近3年，当地光机电行业总产值年均增长42%，成为支撑城市转型的重要动能。
走进太行古堡，触摸历史流光。晋城有着“中国古建博物馆”之称，现有国保单位72处，宋金以前木结构建筑58处，国家级历史文化名镇名村和传统古村落226个，117座古城堡、15万间明清古建筑，素有“东方古堡看晋城”的美誉。近年来，晋城积极创建国家文物保护利用示范区，深入实施古民居保护工程、记忆工程和活化工程，全力推动晋城古堡申遗，国、省保单位修缮率达到70%以上，186个村入选中国传统村落，40个村镇入选中国历史文化名镇名村。
体验多彩非遗，领略文化之美。在晋城市阳城县乔氏珐华博物馆，一个个精巧别致、形态各异的珐华器吸引了采访团每一个人的目光。海外华文媒体还在现场亲自体验了珐华器的制作过程，感受到了中国传统工艺的独特魅力。
此次海外华文媒体晋城行，不仅让世界看到了晋城在产业转型、文化传承方面的成就，也向世界展示了晋城人民的热情和城市的美好。晋城的故事，正随着海外华文媒体的报道，走向更广阔的世界舞台。

The ancient buildings here carry the weight of history and the depth of culture. The people here, like the city itself, are warm and beautiful.” Du Bingyu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Khmer-Chinese Daily in Cambodia, shared his feelings from his visit to Jincheng on social media.
From August 7 to 10, the 2024 “Walking in China – Reporting China” overseas Chinese media Shanxi tour event visited Jincheng. More than 20 executives, journalists, and editors from overseas Chinese media from over ten countries focused on industrial transformation and development, experienced intangible cultural heritage, admired ancient fortress culture, and experienced Chinese traditional culture, telling the beautiful story of Jincheng to the world.
Concentrating on industrial transformation and feeling the vitality of development. In one minute, 200 fine optical lenses are produced; in a day, 100,000 mobile phone parts are off the line; in a month, 9 billion LED light beads are produced… This is the achievement of Jincheng’s optoelectronic industry. In recent years, Jincheng has been rooted in its own advantages, adhering to innovation-driven development, deeply engaged in the optoelectronic industry, continuously strengthening policy support, optimizing the business environment, and improving the industrial ecology. Over the past three years, the total output value of the local optoelectronic industry has grown by an average of 42% annually, becoming an important driving force for urban transformation.
Entering the ancient fortresses of the Taihang Mountains, touching the flow of history. Known as the “Chinese Ancient Architecture Museum,” Jincheng has 72 state-level protected units, 58 wooden structures from the Song and Jin dynasties, 226 national-level historical and cultural towns and traditional villages, 117 ancient fortresses, and 150,000 rooms of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is renowned as “The Ancient Fortresses of East Asia are seen in Jincheng.” In recent years, Jincheng has actively created a national cultural heritage protection and utilization demonstration area, deeply implemented the protection project for ancient residences, memory project, and revitalization project, and made every effort to promote Jincheng ancient fortress heritage applications. The repair rate of national and provincial protected units exceeds 70%, with 186 villages selected as traditional Chinese villages and 40 townships selected as national historical and cultural townships.
Experiencing colorful intangible cultural heritage and admiring the beauty of culture. At the Xiao Family Porcelain Ware Museum in Yangcheng County, Jincheng, the exquisite and unique shapes of the porcelain ware attracted the attention of every member of the delegation. Overseas Chinese media also personally experienced the making process of the porcelain ware and felt the unique charm of traditional Chinese crafts.
This overseas Chinese media tour of Jincheng not only let the world see the achievements of Jincheng in industrial transformation and cultural heritage preservation, but also showcased the enthusiasm of Jincheng’s people and the beauty of the city. The story of Jincheng is gradually reaching a broader world stage through the reporting of overseas Chinese media.
