Recently, the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held in Beijing. The session deliberated and adopted the Decision on Comprehensively Promoting Rule of Law and Perfecting China’s Socialist Legal System, providing guidance for the construction of socialist rule of law in the new era.
The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC emphasized that the construction of China’s socialist legal system is the overall grasp in comprehensively promoting rule of law, an inherent requirement for the development and advancement of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and an important task for the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country. The session proposed that under the leadership of the Party, a complete legal norm system, an efficient legal implementation system, a strict legal supervision system, and a powerful legal guarantee system should be formed, along with the perfection of the internal party regulations system.
