He pointed out that since TCL established its first overseas production base in Vietnam in 1999, its business has been steadily growing and has made a significant contribution to the global supply chain.
At the TCL Smart Appliances (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. manufacturing base in Phu Yen Province, Vietnam, TCL has won the respect and support of the local society by continuously improving the technology and quality of its products and by operating locally, such as promoting local employees and integrating into the local community. The local workforce at the Vietnam base accounts for nearly 95%, with three-quarters of the management team being from Vietnam.
TCL has set up 33 manufacturing bases globally, with 10 overseas bases spread across seven countries. In 2023, overseas product revenue accounted for nearly half of the total product revenue.
