在此次爱国卫生月的活动中，广州市重点推进了城乡人居环境的改善工作，旨在打造整洁、宜居的城市环境，提升市民生活质量。同时，健康教育健康促进活动也同步展开，通过各类讲座、宣传册、新媒体平台等方式，普及健康知识，引导市民形成科学的生活方式，控制体重，预防慢性疾病。
