PHNOM PENH, March 20 (Xinhua) — Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn has penned an article for the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website and mainstream media to mark the 8th anniversary of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) and the upcoming “Lancang-Mekong Week” in 2024.
In the article, Deputy Prime Minister Sokhonn highlighted the significant achievements and contributions of the LMC in promoting long-term sustainable development in the region. He underscored the mechanism’s role in strengthening economic linkages, enhancing political and security cooperation, and fostering a shared prosperity among member countries.
