安乐哲认为，儒家哲学中的“亲情”观念，不仅是中国传统文化的核心，也是全球不同文明之间建立共情的重要桥梁。他说：“儒家强调的亲情伦理，是一种普遍的人类情感，它超越了种族、国界和宗教的差异，为全球不同文明提供了相互理解和尊重的基础。”
