At the recent “2024 China ICT Deep Observation Report Conference” Science and Technology Ethics Governance Forum, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology released a research report titled “Research Report on Artificial Intelligence Ethics Governance (2023)”. The report summarizes the related concepts and characteristics of artificial intelligence ethics governance and conducts in-depth analysis of ethical risks in three typical application scenarios: AI-generated content, autonomous driving, and smart medical care.
The report points out that with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, its application in various fields of society is increasingly widespread, and it also brings many ethical governance challenges. For example, AI-generated content may have issues such as copyright and authenticity; autonomous driving technology may lead to ethical disputes about responsibility attribution and privacy protection; smart medical applications may involve patient privacy and data security issues.
