BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) — Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih at the Great Hall of the People on Tuesday, during his state visit to China. During the meeting, Li said that China attaches great importance to the development of China-Maldivian relations and is willing to consolidate political mutual trust with Maldivian side, deepen the cooperation in building the Belt and Road, and promote the continuous development of China-Maldivian relations. Solih said that his country admires China’s development achievements and is willing to strengthen cooperation in various fields with China, in order to promote the bilateral relations to a higher level.
