Chengdu, China – In a thrilling finale held at thePhoenix Mountain Sports Center in Chengdu on September 28th, the Sichuan Faranda Meile Women’s Basketball Team secured victory in the inaugural Asian Women’s BasketballLeague. The team, playing on home turf, defeated the Japanese Fujitsu Red Wave 74-69, completing a dominant three-game sweep afterpreviously overcoming Indonesia’s Surabaya Fever and Chinese Taipei’s CTBC Life.
