The second incident involved a user named Wu, who shared a video on a short video platform claiming that the Chengdu subway would be extended to a nearby town. The video, which featured real footage of the town and a professional voiceover, garnered significant attention, with over 19,000 views. However, the information was false.

Wu, who admitted to sharing the video without verifying its authenticity, was also subjected to administrative penalties for spreading false information.

These incidents serve as a stark reminder of the potential consequences ofspreading unverified information online.
