China’s C919 Takes Flight: First Domestically-Made Airliner Emblazoned with National Flag Begins Commercial Operations

BEIJING,August 29, 2024 – A historic moment for China’s aviation industry unfolded today as the first domestically-made C919 passenger jet, adorned with the national flag, touched down at Beijing Capital International Airport. Both aircraft are equipped with customized cabin seating, personal charging ports, and state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment systems.
