民营企业在经济发展中扮演着越来越重要的角色
中新社深圳8月24日电 (记者 索有为) 香港中文大学(深圳)前海国际事务研究院院长、公共政策学院院长郑永年24日在深圳表示，在中国经济发展的新征程上，民营企业正扮演着越来越重要的角色。
郑永年是在百川论坛——第三届中国政治经济学理论与实践“产业与现代化：中国与世界”2024研讨会上发表上述观点的。他指出，民营企业不仅是税收和GDP的重要贡献者，更是技术创新、就业和企业数量的主要来源。
然而，当前民营企业正面临着前所未有的挑战，这些挑战不仅来自外部环境的变化，更源于内部结构的深刻调整。
针对如何实现产业的持续发展，郑永年提出需要构建一个“双轨制”的科研体系。一方面要加强民营企业在技术创新中的作用，鼓励民营企业加大研发投入，并与高校和科研机构进行深度合作；另一方面要改革高校和科研机构，促进基础研究和原始创新，为民营企业提供更强大的技术支撑。
郑永年强调，只有通过全面而深化的改革，才能将理念转化为实践，推动产业的整体发展。他呼吁，当下正在进行新一轮的产业革命，科技是第一生产力，要以科技创新为支撑，加快形成和发展新质生产力。
百川论坛为期两日，来自北美、欧洲、非洲、亚洲的学者和企业界专家，从人类社会发展的维度对中国式现代化展开全面而深入的讨论，从产业层面探讨现代化的中国实践与世界经验。论坛共分七个议题，其中包括探讨当前的产业政策以及产业革命对新一轮产业发展的影响，并从宏观层面对当下产业发展进行总体性分析；议题还聚焦金融的高质量发展，从微观视角、营商环境和企业本身来看产业发展的现状与前景。
此次论坛的举办，为深入探讨中国经济发展的新趋势、新挑战、新机遇，以及民营企业在其中所扮演的重要角色提供了重要的平台。

Shenzhen, August 24 (Xinhua) – Zheng Yongnian, Dean of the Qianhai Institute for International Affairs and Dean of the School of Public Policyat the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), stated on August 24th in Shenzhen that private enterprises are playing an increasingly significant role in the newjourney of China’s economic development.
Zheng Yongnian made these remarks at the Bai Chuan Forum – the 3rd China Political Economy Theory and Practice “Industry and Modernization: China and the World” 2024 Symposium. He pointed out that private enterprises are not only major contributors to tax revenue and GDP, but also the primary source of technological innovation, employment, and the number of enterprises.
However, private enterprises are currently facing unprecedented challenges, stemming notonly from changes in the external environment but also from profound adjustments in their internal structure.
Regarding how to achieve sustainable industrial development, Zheng Yongnian proposed the construction of a “dual-track” research system. On the one hand, it is necessary to strengthen the role of private enterprises in technological innovation, encourage them toincrease R&D investment, and foster deep collaboration with universities and research institutions. On the other hand, it is crucial to reform universities and research institutions to promote basic research and original innovation, providing stronger technological support for private enterprises.
Zheng Yongnian emphasized that only through comprehensive and profound reforms can ideas be transformed into practiceand drive overall industrial development. He called for leveraging technological innovation as the primary productive force in the current new round of industrial revolution, accelerating the formation and development of new-type productive forces.
The Bai Chuan Forum, lasting two days, brought together scholars and business experts from North America, Europe, Africa, and Asiato engage in comprehensive and in-depth discussions on China’s path to modernization from the perspective of human societal development. The forum explored the practice of modernization in China and global experiences from an industrial perspective. The forum was divided into seven topics, including discussions on current industrial policies, the impact of industrial revolutions on the newround of industrial development, and a macro-level analysis of current industrial development. The topics also focused on the high-quality development of finance, examining the current state and prospects of industrial development from a micro perspective, business environment, and the perspective of enterprises themselves.
The forum provided a crucial platform for in-depthdiscussions on the new trends, challenges, and opportunities in China’s economic development, as well as the important role played by private enterprises in this process.
