记者从水利部了解到，今年以来，我国全力推动水利基础设施建设，取得显著成效。前7个月，全国完成水利建设投资6894亿元，同比增长12.8%，有力地促进了经济增长和社会发展，并进一步发挥了稳就业促增收作用。

重大水利工程建设进展顺利。 新开工黄河古贤水利枢纽，河北小清河、文安洼蓄滞洪区，广西长塘水库，贵州花滩子水库等34项重大水利工程，较去年同期多8项，总投资2082.5亿元，同比增加954.9亿元。这些项目的实施将有效提升防洪抗旱能力，改善水资源配置，促进区域经济社会发展。
