##大小兴安岭林业有害生物防治员技能竞赛圆满落幕，为生态安全筑牢人才保障
**中新网北京8月22日电** (记者 陈溯) 20日至22日，由中国农林水利气象工会与国家林草局生物灾害防控中心联合组织开展的“2024年度大小兴安岭林业有害生物防治员职业技能竞赛”在内蒙古阿尔山圆满落幕。本次竞赛是国家林草局与中国农林水利气象工会2024年联合工作方案的重要内容，旨在通过以赛促训，培养和选拔高技能人才，推动林业有害生物防治员队伍专业化和科学化管理水平提升。
竞赛分基层选拔赛、省级选拔赛、全国决赛三个阶段，设置团体项目和个人项目，涵盖了无人机飞防、诱捕器布设、背负式喷烟机作业、松材线虫病检验、手持式高枝剪操作和理论知识考试等6个项目。来自全国各地的1.4万名林草职工参加了基层选拔赛和省级选拔赛，最终6支代表队36名队员在决赛中激烈角逐。
经过三天的激烈比拼，内蒙古森工集团代表队最终获得团体项目一等奖，该集团的李双喜获得个人项目一等奖。

##Skill Competition for Forest Pest Control Workers in Greater Khingan Mountains Concludes,Strengthening Talent Pool for Ecological Security
**BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua)** — The “2024 Greater Khingan Mountains Forest Pest Control Workers Professional Skills Competition,” jointly organized by the China Agricultural, Forestry,Water Resources and Meteorological Trade Union and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration’s Biological Disaster Control Center, concluded successfully in Arxan, Inner Mongolia, from August20 to 22.
The competition, a key part of the 2024 joint work plan between the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the China Agricultural, Forestry, Water Resources and Meteorological Trade Union, aimsto cultivate and select highly skilled personnel through competition-driven training, promoting professionalization and scientific management of the forest pest control workforce.
The competition was held in three stages: grassroots selection, provincial selection, and national finals. It included bothteam and individual events, encompassing six categories: drone spraying, trap setting, backpack smoke generator operation, pinewood nematode disease inspection, handheld pruning shears operation, and theoretical knowledge examination.
A total of 14,000 forestry workers from across the country participated in the grassroots and provincial selection rounds, with36 contestants from six teams competing fiercely in the finals.
After three days of intense competition, the Inner Mongolia Forestry Group team won first place in the team event, and Li Shuangxi from the same group won first place in the individual event.
Forest pest control workers are a vital force in protecting forestresources and safeguarding ecological security. They play a leading role in forest pest monitoring and early warning, quarantine and disaster prevention, and control and mitigation. The competition not only provided a platform for forest pest control workers to showcase their skills and learn from each other, but also will effectively promote the improvement of their professional skills, providingbroader talent and technical support for the high-quality development of the forestry and grassland industry.
During the competition, the China Agricultural, Forestry, Water Resources and Meteorological Trade Union also held a “Warm Border Green Environment” special action to care for employees in Inner Mongolia. The China Workers’ Development Foundation and other organizations helda project donation ceremony with relevant trade union organizations of the agricultural, forestry, water resources and meteorological systems in border leagues and cities of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, providing targeted project support, which has been recognized and praised by employees in border areas.
