中新网重庆8月16日电 (梁钦卿)2024世界青年发展论坛数字发展主题论坛15日在重庆举行，来自30个国家和地区的230余名中外青年参会，探讨人工智能(AI)发展和治理的国际合作。
论坛上，中亚人工智能协会主席、上海合作组织前秘书长弗拉基米尔·伊玛莫维奇·诺罗夫指出，AI不应被视为就业的威胁，而应是创造新职业的“创造者”。他以飞机的发明为例，说明新发明往往带来新职业。诺罗夫认为，AI能够解决重复脑力劳动问题，为创新和效率提供前所未有的机会，青年群体应顺势而为，推动AI在各个领域的应用。
国际劳工组织助理总干事米娅·塞波在视频致辞中表示，数字经济为青年提供了大量机遇。她预测，加强全球网络链接将增加数百万个工作岗位，特别是对非洲、拉美以及亚太地区的青年有显著影响。塞波鼓励通过数字经济带来就业增长，并强调重视数字技能的重要性。
中华全国青年联合会副主席夏帕克提·吾守尔提出，当代青年是数字科技创新的弄潮儿，也是引领数字经济发展的生力军。他呼吁世界各国青年投身数字经济与数字化转型事业，携手以数字技术赋能青年发展，并助力全球发展。
论坛期间还发布了世界青年发展论坛青年数字领袖研修计划成果，为全球青年在数字领域的成长与发展提供机遇和资源，推动各国青年交流合作。
数字发展主题论坛是2024世界青年发展论坛四场主题论坛之一，旨在推动青年发展国际合作，助力落实联合国2030年可持续发展议程。

BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) — A Digital Development Theme Forum of the 2024 World Youth Development Forum was held in Chongqing on August 15, attracting over 230 young participants from 30 countries and regions to discuss international cooperation in the development and governance of artificial intelligence (AI).
At the forum, Vladimir I. Nuriyev, Chairman of the Central Asian Association for Artificial Intelligence and former Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, pointed out that AI should not be seen as a threat to employment but rather as a “creator” of new professions. He used the example of the invention of the airplane to illustrate how new inventions often bring about new professions. Nuriyev believed that AI can solve problems of repetitive mental labor, providing unprecedented opportunities for innovation and efficiency. He encouraged young people to seize the opportunities and promote the application of AI in various fields.
Mia Sepou, Assistant Director-General of the International Labor Organization, delivered a video speech, stating that the digital economy has provided a wealth of opportunities for young people. She predicted that strengthening global network connectivity will create millions of new jobs, with significant impacts on young people in Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions. Sepou encouraged the growth of employment brought by the digital economy and emphasized the importance of digital skills.
Xia Pakit Usoor, Vice Chairman of the All-China Youth Federation, proposed that contemporary youth are pioneers in digital technological innovation and a strong force in the development of the digital economy. He called on young people from all over the world to engage in the digital economy and digital transformation, to jointly empower youth development with digital technology and contribute to global development.
During the forum, the outcomes of the World Youth Development Forum Youth Digital Leaders Training Program were released, providing opportunities and resources for global youth to grow and develop in the digital field, and promoting exchanges and cooperation among young people from different countries.
The Digital Development Theme Forum is one of the four theme forums of the 2024 World Youth Development Forum, aiming to promote international cooperation in youth development and help implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.
