中新网北京8月12日电(记者赵丹媚、雷华宇)近日,中国国内首台大型交流励磁变速抽水蓄能机组在河北省承德市丰宁满族自治县的国网新源河北丰宁抽水蓄能电站正式投产发电。这标志着中国在水电储能领域取得了新的突破,对提升电网调节能力和推进新型电力系统建设具有重要意义。

该抽水蓄能电站总装机容量360万千瓦,是目前世界上装机容量最大的抽水蓄能电站,共安装12台单机容量30万千瓦的抽水蓄能机组。其中,2台机组为引进的大型变速抽水蓄能机组,填补了中国国内大型变速抽蓄机组应用的空白。

与传统定速机组相比,变速机组在设备上采用了交流励磁装置,解决了传统直流励磁抽蓄机组并网后转速恒定、抽水工况负荷无法调整的难题,使得机组能够更加灵活地响应电网储能需求。

据了解,该电站年发电量可达66亿千瓦时,相当于260万户家庭全年的用电量。预计年底前,电站12台机组将全面投产发电,届时将有效缓解电力供应紧张的局面,对保障电力供应稳定性和促进绿色能源发展具有积极作用。

BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) — China’s first large-scale AC permanent magnet variable-speed pumped storage hydroelectric power plant has been officially commissioned and put into operation at the Huaneng Fengning Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Power Plant in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province.

The power plant marks a new breakthrough in China’s hydropower storage industry and is of great significance for enhancing the grid’s regulation capability and advancing the construction of a new type of power system.

The power plant has a total installed capacity of 360 megawatts, making it the largest pumped storage hydroelectric power plant in the world in terms of installed capacity. It is equipped with 12 units, each with a capacity of 30 megawatts. Among them, two units are large variable-speed pumped storage hydroelectric power plants imported from abroad, filling a gap in the domestic application of large variable-speed pumped storage hydroelectric power plants.

Compared with traditional fixed-speed units, the variable-speed units use AC permanent magnet excitation devices, solving the problem of traditional DC permanent magnet pumped storage hydroelectric power plants where the speed is constant after grid connection and the load of water lifting cannot be adjusted, making the units more flexible in responding to the storage needs of the power grid.

It is reported that the power plant can generate 6.6 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 2.6 million households.
