HONG KONG, May 22 (China News Service) — The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region’s Department of Culture and Tourism introduced on the evening of May 21 that the “Tea and the World – Gathering” and China (Guangxi) Cultural and Tourism Promotion Conference was held in the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo, on the same day. The event was organized by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region’s Department of Culture and Tourism, with the aim of showcasing the region’s rich cultural and tourism resources, as well as its unique Zhuang culture, to the people of Sri Lanka.
During the Gathering, the traditional tea art performances of the Zhuang ethnic group captivated the attention of many Sri Lankan spectators.
