成达万高铁是国家“八纵八横”高速铁路网中沿江通道的重要组成部分，线路正线全长477公里，设计时速350公里。其中，营山至万州段正线全长153.9公里，共设营山、渠县、达州南、开江南、万州北等5座车站，计划建设工期5年。
