中新网昆明3月18日电 (陈静)云南省出生缺陷防治人才培训班暨云南省地中海贫血防控协作网(下称协作网)启动会18日在昆明举办。协作网启动后，将由云南省第一人民医院(下称云南省一院)牵头开展成员医院培训，提高公众认识，及时落实医学干预措施，预防和减少地中海贫血患儿的出生。
云南省卫计委副主任和向群表示，云南省是地中海贫血高发地区之一，地贫防控工作面临巨大挑战。协作网的成立，旨在通过多部门合作，共同推动地中海贫血的预防、诊断和治疗工作，提高云南省出生缺陷防治水平。
云南省一院院长李红表示，作为协作网的牵头单位，云南省一院将充分发挥自身优势，组织专家团队对成员医院进行专业培训，提升基层医生的地贫防治能力。同时，还将加强与社会各界的沟通协作，共同营造良好的地贫防控氛围。

KUNMING, March 18 (Chen Jing, China News Service) – The Yunnan Provincial Thalassemia Prevention and Control Collaborative Network (hereinafter referred to as the Collaborative Network) kicked off in Kunming on March 18, together with a training program for birth defect prevention professionals in Yunnan. Following the launch, the network will be led by the First People’s Hospital of Yunnan Province (hereinafter referred to as YNP First Hospital) to conduct training for member hospitals, enhancing public awareness and promptly implementing medical interventions to prevent and reduce the birth of children with thalassemia.
Deputy Director of the Yunnan Health Commission and Xiangqun said that Yunnan is one of the high-incidence areas of thalassemia in China, facing significant challenges in thalassemia prevention and control. The establishment of the collaborative network aims to promote the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of thalassemia through multisectoral cooperation, and to improve the level of birth defect prevention in Yunnan Province.
President Li Hong of YNP First Hospital stated that as the leading unit of the collaborative network, YNP First Hospital will fully leverage its advantages to organize expert teams to provide professional training for member hospitals, enhancing the thalassemia prevention and control capabilities of grassroots doctors. At the same time, it will also strengthen communication and collaboration with all sectors of society to jointly create a good atmosphere for thalassemia prevention and control.
