三峡北线船闸是三峡工程的重要组成部分，承担着长江上游船舶通航和水资源调控的重要任务。为确保船闸安全稳定运行，三峡集团宜昌航运管理处组织开展了为期45天的北线船闸检修工作。
记者在现场看到，检修人员正对船闸闸门、导流墩、护坡等设施进行全面检查和维修。检修工作包括闸门启闭系统、供电系统、通信系统、消防系统等多项内容。
三峡集团宜昌航运管理处副处长王建介绍，此次检修是三峡北线船闸自2012年投运以来的首次大修。检修期间，船闸将停止通航，但通过南线船闸可保证长江上游航运畅通。
据了解，三峡北线船闸检修工作将于4月22日结束，届时船闸将恢复正常通航。

Yichang, March 8 (China News Service) – On March 8, reporters visited the Three Gorges North Ship Lock maintenance site.
The Three Gorges North Ship Lock is an important part of the Three Gorges Project, undertaking the important tasks of ship navigation and water resource regulation in the upper reachesof the Yangtze River. To ensure the safe and stable operation of the ship lock, the Yichang Shipping Administration of the Three Gorges Group organized and carried out a 45-day maintenance operation on the North Ship Lock.
Reporters at the scene saw that maintenance personnel were conducting comprehensive inspections and repairs on the ship lock gates, guide piers, and revetments. The maintenance work includes multiple items such as the gate opening and closing system, power supply system, communication system, and fire protection system.
Wang Jian, deputy director of the Yichang Shipping Administration of the Three Gorges Group, introduced that thismaintenance is the first major overhaul of the Three Gorges North Ship Lock since its commissioning in 2012. During the maintenance period, the ship lock will be closed to navigation, but navigation in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River will be guaranteed by the South Ship Lock.
It is understood that the maintenance work on the Three Gorges North Ship Lock will be completed on April 22, at which time the ship lock will resume normal navigation.
