朝阳区将聚焦国贸、三里屯等重点区域，优化产业布局，培育特色产业集群，打造国际消费中心城市核心承载区。同时，推进朝外、国贸、三里屯、团结湖和青年路等片区城市更新和治理，进一步提升区域环境，打造宜居宜业宜游的城市空间。
在国贸片区，将重点打造国际商务服务中心、国际文化交流中心和国际消费中心。通过优化公共空间，提升街区品质，打造富有国际风情的精品街区。
