With the release of the 2024 CSRankings global computer science rankings, Chinese universities are making a significant splash in the AI field, with Tsinghua University coming out on top. The updated rankings reflect a more intense global competition among computer science institutions. Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University are ranked in the top three in AI, while Carnegie Mellon University and Zhejiang University are tied for fourth.
