1月22日,上海徐汇区政府与中国电信上海公司共同举办了“算力惠模都 万兆连速城”人工智能公共算力服务产品发布会。会上,中国电信透露,到2024年上半年,公司将在上海规划建设15000卡的智算集群,总算力超4500P。其中,单池新建国产算力达万卡,成为国内首个单池万卡液冷算力集群。

这个液冷万卡算力集群的建成,将为我国人工智能产业提供强大的算力支持。据悉,液冷技术能够有效降低数据中心的能耗,提高算力的稳定性和效率。此外,国产液冷算力集群的建设和应用,也将有助于推动我国人工智能核心技术的自主创新发展。

China’s telecom giant China Telecom has recently announced that it will construct the country’s first liquid-cooled 10,000-card computing cluster in Shanghai to support trillion-parameter large models. This move marks a new breakthrough in China’s artificial intelligence (AI) field.

On January 22, the Shanghai Xuhui District government and China Telecom Shanghai Company jointly held the “Powerful Model City” artificial intelligence public computing power service product launch. At the event, China Telecom revealed that by the first half of 2024, the company will plan and construct a 15,000-card intelligent computing cluster in Shanghai with a total computing power exceeding 4.5 billion PFlops. Among them, the single-pool newly constructed domestic computing power reaches 10,000 cards, becoming China’s first single-pool 10,000-card liquid-cooled computing cluster.

The construction of this liquid-cooled 10,000-card computing cluster will provide strong computing power support for China’s AI industry. It is understood that liquid cooling technology can effectively reduce the energy consumption of data centers, enhance the stability and efficiency of computing.
