According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, the Long March 7 Y八 rocket has completed propellant loading, aiming to launch the Tianzhou-7 cargo spacecraft at Beijing time on January 17, 2024, at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in China. This will be the first mission of the Tianzhou cargo spacecraft, and also the first launch mission of the 2024 manned space program.

The Tianzhou-7 cargo spacecraft is currently the most capable in terms of cargo transport and comprehensive in-orbit support. The total weight of the upward supply mission is approximately 5.6 tons, with all necessary space station spare parts, propellants, space applications experiments, and test devices already installed. Unlike previous missions, the Tianzhou-7 cargo spacecraft will adopt a three-hour rapid rendezvous and docking plan for the first time since the construction of the space station.
