Recently, Alibaba Cloud announced a comprehensive management reshuffle to advance the new strategy of “AI-driven and public cloud first” proposed by Wu Yongming. In this change, the Chief Commercial Officer of Alibaba Cloud, Cai Yinghua, has left the company. He had previously served as the President of Huawei’s EBG China Region and actively promoted the transformation of Huawei’s public enterprise business in China.
In order to better implement the new strategy, Alibaba Cloud has recently adjusted its organizational structure. This includes the establishment of a Public Cloud Business Division, led by Liu Weiguang, reporting to Wu Yongming, CEO of Alibaba Cloud; an Infrastructure Division led by Jiang Jiangwei; and a Hybrid Cloud Business Division, among others.
