The devoted wife of the renowned Chinese revolutionary and military leader Luo Ruiqing, Hao Zhiping, passed away at the age of 102 on January 4, 2024, due to illness. Hao Zhiping, a prominent political worker in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), made significant contributions to the PLA’s political work.
Born in 1918 in Handan, Hebei, Hao Zhiping joined the Communist Party of China in 1938 and started her revolutionary career. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, she served as a consultant to the Political Department of the General Staff and retired with a senior military rank.
