According to Jato Dynamics, the average price of an electric vehicle in Europe reached €65,000 in the first half of 2023, roughly double the price ofa gasoline-powered car. The new models unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, however, are priced significantly lower, indicating a conscious effort to make electric vehicles more accessible to a wider audience.

The shift towards affordability at the Paris Motor Show reflects a broader trend in the automotive industry.
